Air Plant Tillandsia - Ionantha Red (Plt/Air/S.Peb+6Shell+Spa/IonanthaRed.A0)

Air Plants or Tillandsia have become really popular lately and that’s mostly due to their minimal requirements and easy maintenance. Caring for an air plant is very simple and there are tons of stylish ways in which you can use these to decorate your home. Whether you display them in a terrarium, hang them with fishing line or put them in a glass bowl, air plants always look lovely and very chic.

The package includes: 1 Air Plants, Sea Shells,, White Spa Gravels and Some Pebbles.

Water

After you've unpacked your plants and spent sufficient time marveling at their unique beauty (and possibly giving them names), give them a good soak in a water bath (submerged in the water) for about 20-30 minutes.

After their shower or bath, gently shake the plants to remove any excess water from the base and the leaves, and set out to dry in an area with enough air circulation to dry them out in about 4 hours.

On days you don’t water, you can mist tillandsias lightly. You will notice that as they soak up water, air plants will turn a more vivid color of green.

Your plants should be watered once per week,a longer, 2-hour soak is recommended every 2-3 weeks.

Temperature

Air plants will do best in generally warm conditions (a good range is 50-90 degrees).

Light

Air plants enjoy bright but diffused light, so provide light shade from direct sunshine, particularly under glass. A position in a south-facing window behind a net curtain is ideal.
